Automations and standing approvals
Have an agent do something on a schedule or when a page changes.
An automation runs on its own: at a time on the days you choose, or when a web page changes.
Make one
- Ask Pufy in a chat, for example "every weekday at 8, give me a summary of my day" or "tell me when this page changes".
- Pufy shows the automation on a card: when it runs, what it does, and anything it may do without asking.
- Tap Approve.
Each run happens in that agent's chat, and the result shows there.
Pause or delete
- Open the menu (top left), then tap the Settings button at the bottom left.
- Tap Automations.
- Pause or delete one, or use Pause all. While it is on, no automation runs.
Standing approvals
By default anything an automation wants to send, book or change waits as a card for you. A standing approval lets one exact action run without asking, for example "send the weekly summary to my team list".
- Up to 3 per automation, each fixed to who or where it goes.
- It runs at most once per run, and it is logged.
- Never for money, the cloud browser or other automations.
- Everything else still waits for a card.
Good to know
- You can have up to 10 automations. They use your time zone.
- A watched page is checked about every hour. After a change, it waits a day before it can run again.
